TRiO Student Support Services TRiO Student Support Services is a supportive academic community working together toward academic excellence. TRiO Student Support Services helps first generation, low-income students and students with disabilities achieve their academic goals.
Services for Counseling Helps students with goal setting, problem solving, study skills or communicating effectively.Assist students in recognizing and working towards their academic, personal or career goals.
Disabilities Provide disable students with the resources needed enroll and successfully complete their course work and/or degree plan.Accomadate students disabilities with proper tools that are needed. Readers are available for sight-impaired students.
Student Life Information on how to get involved with others at COM who may share the same interest as you or who want to make a difference in the community.
Career Services Provide students with the tools necessary to realize success, both personally and professionally. Assist students with trying to decide on a major, seeking employment after graduation.
Advising Advisors help students select courses to meet their goals, understand core curriculum and access on-campus resources. Advisors help students answer any question regarding their academic career at COM and beyond.
Testing Placement testing results help students by determining their eligibility for certain college programs for certain certifications and Course placement
Student Financial Services Inform students about financial assistant that may be available to those who qualify.Information about Student Loans, Pell-Grants, Work Study and Scholarships.
Library Provide students with college level resourses.Free prints for students if the documents are related to class work.Streaming, downloadable books, games and puzzles for students
Speaking, Reading and Writing Center Provides work space, up-to-date reference materials and trained tutors to work one-on-one with clients seeking to improve their public speaking, reading and writing skills.
COM Police The COM Police Department provides security for College facilities and assistance to students, visitors, faculty and staff 24 hours a day, seven days a week. COM Police Department officers regularly patrol campus parking lots.
Child Development Education Lab school on campus for infant, toddler, and preschool children. It also provides evening child care. Qualified students can apply for the Perkins Grant to allow for assistance in paying for daycare.
